I read you can uninstall version 11 and reinstall version 10, but in the past I found that you now have to use the microsoft version of icloud instead of the download from the apple store which is where the link provided to get version 10 is located.

I did that too with the Registry. They then started coming back again of course - each time I reset the iCloud options. I think we will not get a solution until Apple pick up on this support group.
