The reason for this is that defeating bosses in the Boss Rush mod will mess with event flags possibly leaving the save file in an unplayable state. Players can choose between two settings of this mod: The normal Boss Rush, which takes gamers through the boss order as they would normally encounter them, or players can choose the Reverse Boss Rush which starts from the last boss in the order and then works backwards.
